Kol Nidre Appeal 5785

Thank you for joining us for the Kol Nidre (Yom Kippur evening) service at KBI.

Please remember to bring this booklet with you to the services on October 11th.

We are delighted to have you as a member of the KBI community. This booklet offers you a chance to explore how you can get more out of your membership. Whether you're looking to learn more about Judaism, use your skills to help others, or simply meet new people, there's something for everyone.

Additionally, youll find information on how you can support KBI financially beyond your membership dues. Your generous contributions enable us to provide a full range of services and programs for our members.

The Jewish year 5785 is just beginning, and for KBI, it is a year filled with promise. To fulfill the promise of this year, we need you.

Shanah Tovah!

Getting More Out of Your Membership

Synagogue life offers much more than attending services. Let us know what activities or programs youre interested in by turning down a tab on this page. One of our team members will reach out to you by the end of the month to discuss your interests and provide more information. Theres no obligation, so feel free to explore...

Support the Synagogue Financially

We appreciate your commitment to paying your synagogue dues. However, did you know that dues alone dont cover all of our costs? Your additional donations help us maintain the building, offer diverse programming, and support members in need.

Please choose an amount to pledge. Every donation makes a difference.

After the holiday, you can pay by credit card, cheque, or bank transfer. You can also choose to pay monthly or in a lump sum. While most payments can be made online, our office is always here to assist you. Or you can wait until we contact you...

Other Ways to Donate

Why not upgrade to a KBI Chai Membership? Chai Members make a generous donation to the synagogue and receive free admission to every ticketed event during the year. This includes at least four Shabbat dinners, a Simchat Torah dinner, a Purim Party, a Community Seder, and an afternoon of Yiddish performances in the fall, among other events. Chai members will be acknowledged througout the year.

Convert your regular membership to a Chai Membership for an additional $1800 per person. You can do this instead of, or in addition to, making a pledge on the previous page.

Did you know that 55 KBI families have chosen to leave a legacy gift to KBI? If youd like to learn more about legacy giving, turn down the Life and Legacy tab.
