Kol Nidrei Appeal 5786

The booklet is your family’s admission ticket for Yom Kippur services on October 1st.
Please bring it with you.

Welcome to the Kol Nidrei service for 5786 — we’re so glad you’ve joined us.
Because we do not write or send emails on Yom Kippur, this booklet provides a kosher way for you to let us know two things:
- How you count on KBI
- How KBI can count on you

It’s simple: the more our members support the synagogue, the more the synagogue can support our members. Please take a moment to reflect and respond.
Shana tova u’metukah — wishing you and your family a good and sweet 5786.

Jeremy Rudin, President
Cantor Jason Green
Yaron Starosta, Interim Executive Director

How You Can Support KBI
If you’re holding this booklet, you've already “paid your dues.” What you may not know is that our dues are intentionally set at a level we believe is affordable for most — but not enough to cover all the costs of running a vibrant, active synagogue.

Your additional donations help us:
- Improve our security
- Bring in speakers and scholars
- Support members in need
- Offer more programs and services for everyone

Only you can make that happen. Please give generously.

Consider Chai Membership
Chai Members support KBI with an extra donation and receive free admission to every ticketed event of the year.

Last year’s events included:
- 6 Shabbat dinners
- 5 movie nights
- 2 Adult Ed dinners
- Yiddish night
- Purim party
- Passover Seder
- Summer BBQ — and more!

This year, we’ll do even more — with your support.

Chai Membership is $1,800 per adult. You can add this to your pledge, or do it instead.

What Would You Like to See More Of?
With your support, we can do a lot — but not everything. To help us plan the year ahead, let us know one or two areas you’d like KBI to focus on more than last year. Please choose just one or two; we want to know what matters most to you.
