Steffy has written in discussion groups about the laws of war and occupation as they pertain to the conflict and cuts through many misconceptions on the subject. She gained a layman’s interest in the subject matter and offers a perspective which any layman can and should grasp to navigate the rights-based discourse prevalent in this conflict. She endeavors to awaken an interest in this framework in order to better organize the way Jews approach the fundamental assumptions of the conflict.
