Malca Pass Library

Kehillat Beth Israel is proud to offer free access to the exceptional Malca Pass Library, an impressive collection of texts, DVDs and music CDs in almost every area of Judaica. Books include a large up-to-date collection of fiction on Jewish themes or by Jewish authors as well as non-fiction materials such as biography, art, Jewish religious practice, holy days, history and food. Named in memory of a dedicated Agudath Israel Congregation Sisterhood President and volunteer, the library has established a vast collection over its 50+ year history.

An associated program, the Malca Pass Library Book Discussion Group meets periodically throughout the year. Both the library and the book group are open to the entire Ottawa community.

The library, staffed by helpful volunteers, is open on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You may call the Library during hours of operation to request a hold on a book…and pick up the book at the shul office during their hours of operation: Mon-Thurs: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. & Fri: 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
